Who are we?

We are a small family owned business focused on serving delicious Tijuana style Birria De Res. During Covid there was a re-route in my career path, I (Alex) owner and founder decided to create a new chapter in my culinary career. One that was put aside for years due to time and life in being a restauranteer. After learning, leading and involving myself in the San Antonio community for 10 years in different culinary cuisines and kitchens, the goal and mission I had as a native Oaxacan was simple, to one day open a food concept focused on serving fresh quality, delicious, Birria with a huge focus on hospitality.

Inspired by my family recipes and cooking roots from Oaxaca along with a Texas twist, I combined the knowledge I gained from my International business degree and culinary background so my Wife (Mary) and I could start this journey, while our dream was being built, we participated in pop-ups and serving plates during dinner hours, to make the dream a reality. In 2020 our first trailer was established on a dusty, open lot in Buda, TX and the rest is history. As we continue to grow we are thankful for the support of our family members Jose and Maria who have since joined us and our amazing, hardworking team that joins in to serve you all at each trailer, along with each guest that visits us- our mission is to continue delivering delicious food made with fresh quality ingredients in every dish with an immense focus on hospitality as we welcome each & everyone of you to our Tejas Familia!
